WTI holds blessing of its new and bigger office
Webcast Technologies Inc. (WTI) has moved out from UP-Ayala Technohub, Quezon City to L&I Building, 817 EDSA, South Triangle, Quezon City. This move was done to give employees a better working environment and to cater to the growing number of the WTI family.
The office transfer was made official through a ribbon cutting and office blessing ceremony held on November 7, 2016. Employees and guests were welcomed with a glass of wine.
Cutting of the ribbon was led by WTI COO Bernardo F. Abis, Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Secretary Fortunato T. dela Peña, Pascual Laboratories Chairman & CEO Dr. Abraham F. Pascual and WTI Legal Counsel Atty. Mon Pagaringan. The blessing was followed by a small feast enjoyed by everyone.
“This is an important day for WTI as we not only moved to a new office but we also welcome a new environment a lot more conducive for collaboration and innovation,” said Mr. Abis in his opening remarks. Mr. Abis also added that their new and bigger office will allow WTI to provide their clients a new level of service to cater to their needs.
Sec. de la Peña, guest of honor, gave a speech about the importance of technology in businesses. “I think this particular enterprise that Bernie started is a very good example of putting in technology to enterprise. I guess our future will lie in businesses that involve technology. Due to competition, we have to really be ahead in certain areas and I think it’s with the use of technology that we can really make a difference,” he explained. He also praised WTI for promoting collaboration among the academe, government and private sector.
The new office was inspired by the Google headquarters and breaks away from the traditional office norms by adapting modern design elements and lively colors.
