Are you a detail-oriented accounting student looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced professional environment? We are looking for an Accounting Intern to support our finance team specifically within the Accounts Payable function. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your classroom knowledge to real-world financial operations.


The Role

As an Accounting Intern, you will work closely with our finance department to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our supplier payments and financial record-keeping. You’ll gain exposure to the full lifecycle of accounts payable and general ledger management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Management: Assist in organizing, filing, and maintaining accurate supplier records and documentation.

  • Bank Reconciliation: Support the team in preparing monthly bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

  • Transaction Recording: Perform basic recording of daily financial transactions within our accounting system.

  • Ledger Oversight: Help manage and update subsidiary ledgers to keep our books current.

  • Ad Hoc Support: Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as assigned by the finance team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Technical Skills: Foundational understanding of basic accounting principles.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) or Google Workspace (Sheets/Docs).

  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify discrepancies and suggest solutions for accounting-related issues.

  • Organization: Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Availability: Must be able to report onsite at least 3 days per week.
