Job Overview
The Account Officer is responsible for planning & implementing GIS projects of clients with the end goal of nurturing WTI’s business relationship with them. He/she is also responsible in addressing all concerns of assigned top clients on the use of WTI’s GIS products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Client management (“Alaga”)
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Identifies opportunities to cross-sell or upsell GIS products and services.
- Develops a deep understanding of GIS products, features, and functionalities.
- Stays updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
- Provides technical support and guidance to clients as needed.
- Develops detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Ensures the effective flow of information between stakeholders of the project
- Analyzes reports & participates in quality checking as required by the project
- Leads & collaborates closely with internal teams (e.g., sales, GIS analysts, data scientists, and other relevant professionals) to ensure seamless client service
- Analyzes client data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Prepares regular reports on account performance and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Geography, GIS, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 2-3 years proven experience in sales, account management, or customer service.
- Strong understanding of GIS principles and applications
- Knowledge of industry-specific GIS applications (e.g., store location planning, urban planning, environmental management).
- Experience working with specific GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
- Can use Google Workspace (Gmail, Doc, Sheet, Slides) or related software
- Has a basic understanding of data visualization tools (e.g. Looker Studio)
